Outstanding Business of the Year Award
Category: 1-25 employees
The award recognizes local small businesses demonstrating staying power, innovation and positive impact on the local economy. A panel of 20 judges from St. Petersburg area businesses and organizations chose Blue Reef as the best in its category based on criteria established by the U.S. Small Business Administration: substantial history as an established business, impact on the job market, increased sales-to-revenues over a three-to-five year period, improved financial position, innovation in products and services, response to adversity and commitment to the community.

Pinellas County Board of County Commissioners
Recognition for Dedicated Service
Blue Reef received special recognition from the Pinellas County Board of County Commissioners for the company’s “dedicated service to the citizens and the economy of Pinellas County.” A team of ambassadors from various Pinellas County government organizations–including the Pinellas County Board of Commissioners, St. Petersburg City Council, Pinellas County Economic Development, City of St. Petersburg Economic Development, St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce–visited Blue Reef to personally thank us for our contributions to the community and congratulate us on our success.

Recent Industry Awards

American Advertising Federation ADDY Awards
The AAF ADDY Awards is the advertising industry’s largest and most representative competition, recognizing creative excellence in advertising worldwide. In 2004, Blue Reef Digital won seven ADDYs from the Tampa Bay Advertising Federation, the local chapter of the AAF, including a Best of Bay Award for its Web site, www.BlueReefDigital.com. The ADDY competition received nearly 500 entries from advertising agencies, design boutiques, in-house marketing departments and freelance creative talent from around the Tampa Bay area. Blue Reef went on to receive two Silver awards at the 4th District ADDY competition, which represents advertising professionals across Florida and the Caribbean.

International Association of Business Communicators Bronze Quill Awards

Summit Creative Awards
The Summit Creative Awards is an international competition celebrating the creative accomplishments of advertising, public relations, video production, multimedia agencies and other allied firms with annual billings of less than $15 million. The awards receive thousands of submissions from more than twenty countries.
